Shipping Rates and Policies

****Holiday Shipping****

 

All of our shipments normally ship ground. UPS and FedEx stop guaranteeing their Ground shipments December 12 - 24. This means that any shipment that normally takes them 2 business days to deliver can take 3 days or longer through no fault of the carrier nor cincy2u.com.

Both UPS and FedEx have extended their delivery times for air shipments by 90 minutes during December 19 – 24. The shipment is still guaranteed to be delivered that day, but not by 10:30AM or 3PM. The Carriers will not leave a package at a closed business.

Cincy2U.com only ships frozen orders on Monday and Tuesday. We recommend shipping frozen orders by December 13 to ensure delivery before Christmas. We will still ship frozen orders on December 20, but keep in mind there is no guarantee that your order will be delivered by Christmas.


Shipping

All orders are normally processed within 7-10 days.

All orders ship GROUND (1 - 5 days) and will incur an $8.99 handling charge to each shipping address.

Certain states (AK, AZ, CA, CO, FL, HI, ID, KS, ME, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM,  NV, OK, OR, SD, TX,  UT, VT,  WY, & WA) that require upgraded shipping for frozen items will incur a $25 shipping fee. Two or more frozen items can incur an additional $15 shipping fee. 

Certain frozen orders require oversize coolers due to the volume of the packaged item. These orders will incur a $35 Premium Shipping Fee. Two or more frozen items can incur an additional $15 shipping fee. 

For expedited orders there is a handling fee of $41.00.  Expedited orders normally arrive in 3 to 4 business days. Contact us for details.

Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii will incur a $40.00 non-continental US handling fee.

To minimize the chance of a shipment sitting over the weekend in transit, our normal shipping days for frozen items are Monday through Wednesday. At the current time we cannot ship frozen items to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or to foreign countries, including Mexico and Canada. 

The only product currently shipped to PO Boxes is 12 packets of Cincinnati Recipe Chili Mix. If you need to have any other order shipped to a PO Box please send us an email.

It is not required; however we recommend shipping frozen items to a business address when possible. Delivery is guaranteed before closing time of the business day. With a residential delivery, it is by the end of the driver’s day (this could be as late as 8:00 PM in some cases!). Please remember, the delivery commitment does not start when the order is placed. It begins when we hand your package to the carrier.

Frozen items start their shipment solidly frozen. Some thawing is normal and should be expected during shipping. It is safe to refreeze a cold item when you receive your order. Please note that neither the shipping company nor cincy2u.com can accept responsibility for delays due to weather or other reasons that cause the carrier not to honor their delivery guarantee. If you are sending our products as a gift, please inform the recipient to be on the lookout for a package. Unfortunately neither cincy2u.com, nor the carriers can take responsibility for a package that was delivered as requested and left outside.

Incorrect Addresses - Unfortunately neither cincy2u.com, nor the carriers can take responsibility for shipping delays caused by incorrect addresses. Address corrections will be done when possible for a $15 fee. So please be precise and accurate when typing in addresses. 

Return Policy
If an item does not meet with your satisfaction for any reason, please notify us within 2 days of receipt of your order.  Refunds are at our discretion. Shipping costs, insurance, and handling charges (if any) are non-refundable. A credit will be issued as soon as we agree to the problem. Please allow at least one billing cycle for a refund to appear on your credit card statement.
 

Backorder Policy
We make every effort to keep item availability information current. If an item is not available when ordered and will not be available within seven calander days of order, we will notify you. The order can be cancelled at your request. We will ship your order as soon as possible and will send a shipment confirmation when the order ships.
 

 Dented Can Policy:

When a can is dented near the seam or junction of the cover, it is possible for air to enter the can. These cans should be DISCARDED. Feel the can and visually inspect it. SAFE can dents are not on the seams and have not compromised the can junction of the cover. We’ll replace these dented cans once at our cost. We must receive digital pictures before we will replace the cans. Carriers claim policy is that the can must be punctured before a claim will be honored.

 

International Orders:

There is an additional fee for orders outside the US. This fee will depend on the destination, weight and size. No frozen items can be shipped. Any duties or taxes are the responsibility of the receiver. Contact us for details at cincy2u@fuse.net
